Coffs Harbour

Is a seaside town on the North Coast of NSW, Australia. Coffs is directly halfway between Sydney and Brisbane and is home to around 70,000 people. It boasts a relaxed and friendly lifestyle, dominated by the beach, sun and the great outdoors. The town is cradled between a high mountain backdrop and the golden sands of numerous unspoiled beaches. Lush, tropical vegetation is found in gardens and adjoining bushlands. The "Jetty Strip" is the night life centre of Coffs Harbour. Many restaurants and cafes have collocated in this 300 metre strip a short distance from the jetty itself. There is a very wide variety of foods and dining styles available. Park Beach Plaza is enclosed mall-style retail shopping centre.

Coffs Harbour is home to whale watching, The Big Banana , Scenic Coffs Jetty. Visit the Pet Porpoise Pool . If you're the more extreme type, there is plenty to keep you busy, including sky-diving, scuba diving, white water rafting and more. And when you're done for the day, relax in one of the many cafes and restaurants

Sawtell

The quaint seaside village of Sawtell NSW is nearby with its wonderful patrolled surf beach, rock pool, beautiful lookouts and many restaurants. The local Chamber of Commerce runs the popular Chili Festival. Sawtell Chilli Festival 2007 Sawtell  First Avenue Cinema.

Boating and Fishing

Deep sea trips can be arranged out of Coffs Harbour. Whale Watching Cruises & Fishing Charters Sea Experience  Small boat hire is available from Urunga where you can fish the beautiful Kalang or Bellinger rivers.

Bush walking

Bush walk the Bongil Bongil National Park or visit the World Heritage Dorrigo National Park with its Skywalk and many boardwalks
